Judge lets off rapist of girl, 10

‘A judge spared a man who raped a girl of ten in a park — because she wore a “provocative” frilly bra and thong.

Window cleaner Keith Fenn, 25 — who could have got life in jail — will be free in just four months after admitting twice having sex with the child.

Judge Julian Hall decided to be lenient because the girl “didn’t look 10”.

He caused fury earlier this year by freeing another paedophile, telling him to buy his six-year-old victim a new bicycle.

The judge referred to the 10-year-old as a “young woman”, and called her “very disturbed, very needy and sexually precocious”.’

‘Virgins rare, drug use common’

‘Just four per cent of US adults are virgins, but a fifth have tried hard drugs such as cocaine and crack, a new study shows.

What most alarms researchers is how young they start.

“We still have a public health problem in that we still see a lot of adults reporting their sexual debut at a pretty young age,” said Dr Kathryn Porter of the United States’ National Centre for Health Statistics, who led the survey of more than 6,000 people. [..]

Ninety-six per cent of US adults have engaged in some kind of sex – including oral and anal sex – by the age of 20, according to the study published today.’

Britain to delete term “prostitute” from law books

‘Britain is proposing to remove the term “prostitute” from the criminal statutes because it carries too much stigma.

Instead, a new bill that the Justice Ministry has drafted refers simply to persons who sell sex persistently — defined as twice or more in three months.

“We just wanted to remove the stigma of the label ‘common prostitute’,” said a spokeswoman for the Justice Ministry.

“It’s been around since 1824, so it was a bit outdated. It just wasn’t really helpful to label people.”‘

Car-crash prostitute may get compo for injuries

‘A sex worker hurt when she and her client plunged 100m down a Canterbury hillside in his car may be eligible for compensation for a work-related injury.

The woman is believed to have been in the car with a man driving on Christchurch’s Port Hills when the vehicle went off the Summit Rd in icy weather and fell into a gully early on Friday morning.

It is understood the man had hired the woman for sexual services before the accident. [..]

An Accident Compensation Corporation spokesman told the Herald he did not know details of the case, but if the woman was registered as a sex worker and paid taxes, she could make a claim for a work-related injury based on that.’

Biblical sex — it could knock your socks off

‘Almost everything we think we know about the Bible and sex is wrong.

Instead of being a list of sexual shalt-nots, the Bible contains so much graphic eroticism that parents may want to keep the sacred text away from youth under age 18.

Indeed, that’s what 2,000 Hong Kong residents tried to do in May when they called on a Chinese decency commission to restrict the Bible to adults only because it contains passages that seem to give the okay to incest, rape, adultery and a father offering his daughters to strangers for sexual gratification.’

Revenge By Itching Powder

‘A spurned lover got revenge on her partner – by putting itching powder in his underpants.

Brenda Spilsbury, 57, found David Henderson, 59, having sex with work colleague Ann Graham.

Over a three year period, Spilsbury also sent the former head teacher hate mail and damaged 45-year-old mum-of-two Ann’s car, a court heard. [..]

Spilsbury added: “Ann was married, and left her husband. I saw the itching powder as a way to make David suffer.’

Security setup records teen sexually abusing barn horse

‘A Corvallis teenager is facing charges of burglary and sexual abuse of an animal after being arrested last week at a barn in northeast Corvallis.

The teenager, 17 at the time of his arrest, was arrested by Deputy Randy Hiner and Corvallis Police Officer Jason Harvey at the barn in the 4000 block of Northeast Minnesota Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. on June 7.

The owners of the property had reported assaults on the horse before, once on July 30, 2006, and again on Feb. 9 of this year. After the July incident, the owners noticed the halter of their mare had been moved. So the owners installed a video surveillance camera inside the barn.’

Couple denies having sex on top of crane

‘Police in Punta Gorda say a young man and woman were having sex on a crane in the middle of downtown. Police say the couple climbed more than 100 feet to get on top of the crane to take pictures when one thing apparently led to another.

The crane at the downtown Punta Gorda construction site has been there for some time. It’s becoming a landmark. But that seems to more true for some than others.

While on patrol, a Punta Gorda police officer got a call about some type of action on the crane. The officer noticed someone not wearing a shirt behind a banner and then a second person popped out.

“Both were unclothed,” said the officer. “Basically had to order them over the public address system to dress and come down.”‘

Man With HIV Gets Life Term for Sex

‘A man who spent five years in jail for exposing sexual partners to HIV was sentenced to life in prison for knowingly exposing another woman to the virus.

Sean L. Sykes, 33, was sentenced Tuesday. He was found guilty in May of having unprotected sex with a St. Joseph woman without telling her he was HIV-positive. Testimony at his trial — which was closed to the public to protect witnesses — indicated that he had exposed at least eight women to HIV. At least three have tested positive.

“I think it’s fairly clear he is a very dangerous individual,” Buchanan County Prosecutor Dwight Scroggins said after the sentencing. “If he is not in prison, he would likely continue to spread HIV.”‘

New Sex Diet Leaves Them Wanting More

‘A new diet promises to slim folks down with sexy results.

The so-called diet book “The Ultimate Sex Diet” (True Courage) requires that lovers engage in sex to burn off the pounds. Author Kerry McCloskey says your partner becomes your nutritionist, psychologist and personal trainer.

There are sexual positions like the “Let’s Get Crazy” position where the legs of the woman are on top of the man’s shoulders. McCloskey says this one tones the man’s arms and the woman’s tummy.

She designed and followed the diet and lost 23 pounds in six months. [..]

At the very worst, she says the diet can make a good pickup line: “I have a new sex diet and I need someone to help me out.”‘

Judge backs man in teen sex case

‘A Georgia judge ordered the release Monday of a man sentenced to 10 years in prison for consensual oral sex with a 15-year-old girl when he was 17, a sentence that had been widely criticized as grossly disproportionate to the crime.

Several influential people, including former President Jimmy Carter, publicly supported Genarlow Wilson’s appeals, and state lawmakers voted to close the loophole that led to his 10-year term. [..]

Monday’s ruling doesn’t ensure Wilson’s freedom, though.

Georgia Attorney General Thurbert Baker said Monday afternoon that he had filed notice of appeal, arguing that Georgia law does not give a judge authority to reduce or modify the sentence imposed by the trial court. He said he would seek an expedited ruling from the Georgia Supreme Court.’

8-Year-Old Charged For Sexual Conduct With Sitter

‘A mother is upset after a 14-year-old babysitter engaged in sexual conduct with her eight-year-old boy, and the eight-year-old was charged with lewd conduct.

Prosecutors have since dropped the charges against the boy, but his mother is still concerned.

The sexual conduct occurred during a game of “truth or dare” while the boy was being watched by the babysitter.

Prosecutors say that, while the babysitter initiated the contact, the young boy was a willing participant.

“She dared my son to touch her breasts,” says Michelle Grosbeck, the boy’s mother.’

Man Accused Of Pricking Underage Girls’ Buttocks

‘A man is accused of paying underage girls to let him jab their buttocks, and he now faces charges under a new law that specifically addresses crimes committed for sexual gratification, prosecutors said.

Frank Ranieri, 25, of Staten Island, paid at least five girls — all between the ages of 15 and 17 — thousands of dollars since 2003 to engage in “piquerism,” a sexual fixation on penetrating the body with sharp objects, such as pins, nails and stilettos, the Staten Island district attorney’s office said.

The Daily News, citing unidentified sources, reported that Ranieri was a member of the Police Academy’s July 2004 class, but that he left after two months. It was not clear why.’

Researchers produce Viagra alternative from walnuts

‘Developed by a team of researchers at Universiti Malaya (UM) for the past two years, a tablet containing walnut extract has shown potential as a local alternative to Viagra.

One of the researchers, UM Faculty of Medicine Physiology Department lecturer Prof Dr Kim Kah Hwi, said that so far 40 volunteers had tried the tablet and responded positively.

On its efficacy, Prof Kim said the new pill was comparable to Viagra and he claimed that it was safer as well, although a person would have to consume about 3.3kg of walnuts for the same effect as one tablet. [..]

Prof Kim said the active ingredient was arginine, an amino acid that is absorbed into the body and converted into nitric oxide.

“This enlarges blood vessels and enhances blood flow to the penis,” he said, adding that the walnuts were sourced from China because they were cheaper there.’

Man Used Construction Machine In Attempt To Kill After Gay Sex

‘According to an Osceola County Sheriff’s Office report, the incident took place early Saturday morning after the victim said he met Lundquist at Linkester’s Tap Room in Polk County and had some drinks. The duo left the bar together at about 2 a.m. with the intent to go to the victim’s house, the report stated.

The men instead drove to Tri-County Road, located off Highway 27, where the men engaged in sexual activities, sheriff’s deputies said. Lundquist then said he had to retrieve something, so he got into his car and drove down the road, the report stated.

According to sheriff’s deputies, the victim said that is when a large piece of construction machinery driven by Lundquist came down the road. The victim said he got off the road to avoid it but was struck in the leg and knocked into a ditch, the report showed. The victim told sheriff’s deputies that he began screaming for Lundquist to stop and help him, but Lundquist turned the machine around, strking him a second time.’

Unfair: 10 years for consensual oral sex

‘Ten years in prison for receiving oral sex. That is Genarlow Wilson’s sentence.

When he was 17 years old and a high school senior, he received consensual oral sex from a 15-year-old, 10th-grade girl.

Everyone agreed, including the prosecutor and the girl herself, that she initiated the act.

It was all captured on video — the evidence used to convict him at trial. On the tape, police saw a 15-year-old perform oral sex on one partygoer, and after finishing with him, she turned and did the same to Wilson. Under Georgia law at the time, this was considered aggravated child molestation, a felony for teens less than three years apart to have oral sex. It carried with it a 10-year sentence, even though it was only a misdemeanor for those same teens to have sexual intercourse.’

Men confess to HIV rape orgies

‘A gay gang that allegedly raped victims lured on the internet, drugged them and infected them with the AIDS virus has shocked the Netherlands and raised questions over its liberal sex culture.

Health Minister Ab Klink called the case “horrible”, as the press splashed the news across its front pages today.

The matter came to light yesterday, when police said they had arrested three men two weeks ago after four victims, men aged 25 to 50, accused them of rape and premeditated bodily harm. [..]

The three suspects – one of whom is a male nurse – were said to have raped the men, and even injected some of them with a mix of their contaminated blood.’

Lust never sleeps

‘Researchers are seeking to formally classify a new family of abnormal sexual behaviours or “sexsomnias” that occur while people are asleep.

Ranging from masturbation to fondling to unconscious rape, sleep-related sexual abnormalities need to be properly categorized and labelled so physicians will recognize them when they crop up, according to a paper published today in the journal SLEEP.

“We wanted to call attention to how sexuality looms throughout all the known disorders of sleep,” says Dr. Carlos Schenck, a University of Minnesota psychiatrist and the paper’s lead author.’

Man Suing City For Sexual Harassment, Wrongful Termination

‘There are shocking allegations against a Palm Bay city supervisor. A former employee said she was constantly flashing and using sexually explicit language in front of workers. He said, when he complained, he was fired and is now suing.

It’s unusual for a man to file a sexual harassment suit against a female. Usually, it’s the other way around. But the man who used to work with her said his boss was so vulgar and inappropriate, he had to take action

Boxes are filled with evidence backing Tom Rolfe’s sexual harassment case against the city of Palm Bay. He worked for the city as a meter reader for four years and said he was fired when he complained about his supervisor, Donna Elliot.

“She just dropped her pants, bent over and showed everybody everything,” Rolfe said.’

Bondage couple lose key

‘A German couple had to call out the fire brigade after tying each other up in chains – and then losing the key to the padlock.

Jochen Ranstett, 56 and his wife Maria, from the town of Weiden, dressed up in leathers and chained each other to their beds, but lost the key during the romp.

After hours of trying to free themselves they finally gave up and called for help on Jochen’s mobile phone.

He said: “It was so embarrassing. We just wanted to try something a bit different and we ended up with this.

“I even had to be taken to hospital because my wrists had swollen so much from trying to get out of the handcuffs.”‘

Men helpers ‘fear paedophile tag’

‘Just over one in 10 men do not volunteer to work with children because they are worried people will think they are a paedophile, a survey suggests.

Childrens’ charities NCH and Chance UK also say almost one in five men do not come forward because they would have to undertake a criminal records check. [..]

Work commitments were given as a reason by 59% of those who did not volunteer, and 68% said they did not have enough time.

In all, 13% of the men questioned said they would not choose to volunteer to work with children due to fear of being perceived as a paedophile.’

Even Evangelical Teens Do It

‘Teenagers who identify as “evangelical” or “born again” are highly likely to sound like the girl at the bar; 80 percent think sex should be saved for marriage. But thinking is not the same as doing. Evangelical teens are actually more likely to have lost their virginity than either mainline Protestants or Catholics. They tend to lose their virginity at a slightly younger age–16.3, compared with 16.7 for the other two faiths. And they are much more likely to have had three or more sexual partners by age 17: Regnerus reports that 13.7 percent of evangelicals have, compared with 8.9 percent for mainline Protestants.’

He sentenced the couple to jail for three years and imposed a fine of 10,000 rupees ($166) each for perjury.’

Man wrongly jailed for three years charged £7,000 by Home Office for ‘board and lodging’

‘Wrongly jailed after a woman cried rape, Warren Blackwell applied for compensation for his three wasted years in prison.

Torn from his family and sent to languish in jail as a convicted sex attacker, the innocent father-of-two imagined he was due a hefty sum for the miscarriage of justice.

Instead, he was flabbergasted to learn the Home Office now intends to charge him nearly £7,000 for “board and lodging”.

The money is for the cost of food and accommodation while he was behind bars, and will be deducted from whatever compensation he receives for wrongly imprisonment.’
